This course covers introductory information, venipuncture techniques, types of IV solutions, IV equipment and supplies, and IV medication administration. Includes hands-on practice in the laboratory initiating IV therapy, administering IV medications and caring for different types of IV lines. This course is designed to be a refresher on IV therapy for LPN’s.

Prerequisite: Licensed Practical Nurse.
