This self-paced, self-taught course covers central lines, PICC lines, venous access devices, blood types and compatibility, transfusion of blood and blood products, and total parenteral nutrition. Includes hands-on practice in the laboratory initiating IV therapy, administering IV medications, and caring for different types of IV lines.

Prerequisite: Registered Nurse, Basic IV Therapy. (Not for LPNs)
