Prepare for a career as a Certified Medical Coding Specialist with our structured 7-course series, designed to build your skills step-by-step in medical terminology, human anatomy, ICD-10 diagnostic coding, CPT procedure coding, and electronic health records. Courses must be taken in sequential order, and students have 52 total weeks to complete the full program. This series provides the essential knowledge needed for the certification exam (scheduled and paid for separately by the student) and prepares you for success in a wide range of healthcare administrative and coding roles.
