Join us with an OSU Extension Horticulture Educator in the company of others who are interested in gardening. We will discuss the art and science of growing vegetables, annuals, perennials, shrubs, trees, turfgrass, and fruits & nuts in central Oklahoma! These classes are geared towards beginners or those new to Oklahoma, but experienced gardeners are also welcome. The instructor uses research-based information from the University to teach programs. Objectives of the course include familiarity with Oklahoma growing climate, proper plant selection, planting methods, maintenance of garden spaces, and familiarity with common pests in Oklahoma gardens.

In-District students include those whose permanent residence is within any technology center district in Oklahoma. Proof of residency in the form of a utility bill, lease agreement, or mortgage will be required.
