BASIC ANATOMY I

About Course

This course provides a systematic study of the structure and function of the human body, its cells, tissues, and systems including the skin, bones, and muscles, nervous and sensory organs. The student will identify and describe the organization of the human body, basic body chemistry and basic anatomical structures and function of body systems covered.

 

Prerequisite: Medical Terminology or equivalent (subject to approval).

 

Note: Online only.

 

Required: Book.

 

Important: 

To get the most out of online courses, the student will need basic computer skills, a good computer, and a high-quality Internet connection. Necessary computer skills include, but are not limited to, the ability to:

  1. Open and send email, including attachments;
  2. Conduct an internet search for information on a selected topic;
  3. Upload and download documents;
  4. Use online quiz tools; and
  5. Navigate in an online environment.

In-District students include those whose permanent residence is within any technology center district in Oklahoma. Proof of residency in the form of a utility bill, lease agreement, or mortgage will be required.
