About Course

Word is a powerful word processing program in the Office suite. Using Word, you can create letters, resumes, e-mail messages and other more complex documents, such as invoices, flyers, newsletters and Web pages. Individualized Study. Choose the components of Word you want to learn.

Required: Book.

 

Prerequisite: Basic computer knowledge. Students must have computer with Windows 7 operating system, minimum.

 

Note: Enrollment deadlines are 1/8, 2/5, 3/23, & 4/16.

 

Important: 

To get the most out of online courses, the student will need basic computer skills, a good computer, and a high-quality Internet connection. Necessary computer skills include, but are not limited to, the ability to:

  1. Open and send email, including attachments;
  2. Conduct an internet search for information on a selected topic;
  3. Upload and download documents;
  4. Use online quiz tools; and
  5. Navigate in an online environment.

In-District students include those whose permanent residence is within any technology center district in Oklahoma. Proof of residency in the form of a utility bill, lease agreement, or mortgage will be required.
